Forever Blue Circle

We express our sincere gratitude to donors who have already provided for the future of FFA through a bequest in your will, trust, or by designating FFA as a beneficiary of your financial account. In appreciation, we would like to send you a custom gift made by an FFA member as part of their supervised agricultural experience. Future Gifts Ensure the Sustainability of FFA

FFA Members Smiling

FFA members from across the country take part in the Washington Leadership Conference in the nation’s capital to become engaged citizens and to make measurable positive differences in their communities.

Jim Williams has a lot of fond memories from his 20-year career in fundraising, but one particular experience made a lasting impression.

Jim, executive director of development at the National FFA Foundation, recently worked with a donor who grew up in the Midwest when women couldn’t join FFA. However, both her husband and, later, her daughter were involved, so she had a high affinity for the organization.

“What stands out most to me is that this donor took what she and her husband had built over a lifetime together and made an impact on an organization that had a strong impact on her, her husband and her daughter, both who passed away. She helped make that gift a reality,” Jim says.

FFA exists in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, with 8,817 chapters that extend into 24 of the 25 largest cities.

For National FFA, future gifts like this one enable the organization to reduce the cost for members to participate in activities at the local, state and national levels, such as the State Officer Summit and the Washington Leadership Conference. Gifts also help keep dues and the cost of attending the National FFA Convention & Expo affordable.

While gifts made today also offset current expenses for both the organization and members, gifts in a will or other estate plan safeguard the organization’s future.

“They provide the overall long-term support for the organization and allow us to make plans into the future and ensure that we can continue to create the next generation of leaders who will change the world,” Jim says.
